THINNER IS BETTER?
Thin-film photovoltaic cells, like those in the array seen here in Mainbernheim, Germany, can harvest as much energy from the sun with far less semiconductor material. Our power plant will be built using thin film A-si and CIGS technology with efficiency yields when CIGS is implemented at over 11% at a cost of under $1 per watt per Module.
