The Network

The Global Voice network is based out of 60 Hudson Street New York, with operations facilities and a 24/7 collocation center in Brooklyn NY. It is monitored and managed 24 hours per day, seven days per week by Global Voice’s Network Operations Center (NOC), a fully staffed operation responsible for the system-wide monitoring, surveillance, trouble isolation/resolution, re-routing and ongoing technical support of Global Voice’s Affiliates.

Network Protocols -SS7/C7

Global Voice can provide an SS7 or C7 solution at carrier switches almost anywhere in the world. SS7/C7 (Signaling System 7) is the international standard protocol used to improve call-flow management. Global Voice uses SS7/C7 technology to ensure that service quality meets or exceeds that of PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network).

H.323/SIP

Standard ITU-H.323 is a recommendation of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) that defines standards for multimedia communications over packet networks. Global Voice uses both ITU-H.323 and SIP throughout the Global Voice network to communicate with IP carriers worldwide.
